How many calls per day do we recommend staying under per phone number?
The phone numbers you use to call your contacts can and will be flagged eventually by a phone carrier (like t-mobile, att, verizon etc). One of the best things you can do to decrease the likelihood of being incorrectly labeled as “spam likely” is by having enough phone numbers to make your calls. We recommend making no more than 100 dials per day per phone number. For example, if you have 500 outbound calls to make in the day, best practice would be to get at least 5 different phone numbers if not, more than 5 for a buffer. If a phone carrier sees an unusual amount of traffic coming from a single phone number, they will flag it sooner than later. If your phone numbers get flagged, then almost none of your contacts will answer your calls as you will come up as “spam”. This is one of the most important things you can do for a good connection rate.
What does the “Destination” column next to your phone numbers represent?
The “destination” column represents what will happen when each phone number receives a call back / where inbound calls will be directed. The most popular option is “voicemail”. For example, if you called a contact in your campaign with a certain phone number and you want to feel confident about knowing what will happen if they try reaching back out to you, simply check the “destination” column to find out. BatchDialer offers an assortment of options like inbound call queues, IVR and more.
How many times can you register with the phone carriers?
Registering your phone numbers is not required, but it can make a significant positive impact on your phone numbers’ reputation. We recommend registering each phone number you add to your account through https://freecallerregistry.com/fcr/ and https://www.voicespamfeedback.com/vsf/ . You can register your phone numbers over and over again as there is no limit. If you are in the advanced plan, you’ll have the ability to monitor each phone number and see which carriers have flagged a phone number. As soon as you see a flag, we recommend registering that number with the coordinating phone provider as it can help revoke the flag so you can continue to use it.
